Base Uploader is a powerful database solution for people who play Astro Empires. When properly configured, Base Uploader saves a record of the places you scout into a database. This allows you to later search the database for old friends and foes, making the game a lot more interesting. Most other databases like AEProject have the ability to share your personal data with others. Since this requires multiple location entries into the database, it means that there will be more than one entry of each base location. This takes up valuable space and reduces the performance of the database. With Base Uploader, there is only one database. There is one database per server which comes free of charge. If you wish to have a database for your guild then you will need to pay for this and speak to me directly. You can do this by PM'ing me on the Forum. To use Base Uploader you must meet the following requirements: You must use Firefox as your browser. This system has been tested with version 3.5.2. Other versions may or may not work. You must have Greasemonkey installed. It's free. You must have an account here at Base Uploader. The system is working fine and we have lots of people using this already. You must install a small script into Greasemonkey (only available to members). That's it. This system is fully compliant with Astro Empire's Terms of Service. The way the system works, is every time you scout a base, a copy of the html page you've viewed is sent here to the Database. It's saved and you can retrieve it later. If you don't use automation tools to auto-scout, you won't be breaking any game rules.
